Snow just ate a Lizard!

Oh my Gosh - Snow just ate a lizard. There was this lizard that Forest was looking at the other day and today it was there moving on the door and Snow, that laid back mancat, quickly moved towards it and ate it completely! I tried to move in quick but couldn't stop Snow or make him throw up the lizard. It was a small lizard and Snow gulped it completely!
He is now calmly relaxing on a chair - very satisfied about his mighty hunting adventure!

While I am shocked by the sudden revelation of the hunting skills of Snow, I am also a bit worried - could that lizard be poisonous? I don't even have a quality vet available here!

Boy, Snow does look satisfied with his hunting prowess. I too, don't know if there are poisonous lizards. Casper and Cleo just seem to catch them and play with them. So far they haven't eaten any of them.

Just looked up Lizard in the World Book I have and it says that very few lizards are poisonous, but they were talking about bites. Like a Gila monster has a dangerous bite. Hope that was a little help.

The look of a contented hunter - go, Snow!

P.S. The Tall Skinny Boy's cat Eva ate a lizard's tail that it shed and she's okay; that's all we know.

Wow! When we eat something "live" we usually yak it right back up!!! Snow does look very satisfied with himself though.

Snow does look very satisfied and happy. I don't know about lizards where you live, but around here cats eat the lizards all the time with no ill effects.

Snow is so pretty and refined looking! I know how you must've felt: I know I would've felt the same! I never thought cats would eat stuff like that!

We're sure he'll be fine, any cat that looks that content must know what they're up to.

p.s. did you see the article on my blog about catcam today?

Yummy! The tiny lizards are the best, because they are much more tender.

Did Daisy or the Cat Realm teach you about lizards?

WE have been so busy we have not been visiting properly or consistantly :-(
The kittens are growing so quickly!

The package surprise form Miss Peach was wonderful!

eating a lizard... that is amazingly mancat like.
Today i found a small spider in my food dish, and would not eat it... oh, well I might be becasue I am 16 and could not really see it so well.

Happy Day to Forest, Snow, Kittens and to you and your family Omer!

I am impressed by Snow's hunting skills. We don't have any lizards here where I live, but I'm pretty sure that lizards would be tasty and safe to eat.

That sounds very very exciting! I think that it must not be poisonous. Snow is a smart cat and would not eat a poisonous lizard, would he?

Remember:
A Lizard a Day Keeps the Vet AWAY!
They also keep you skinny!
I believe there is something in them that keeps cats skinny when they eat lizards regularly. It happens to me and a lot of friends that I know of!
And as soon as winter comes we gain weight again - only to shed it within days sometimes once the lizard season starts!
