Now he's gone and I don't know why...

Now he's gone and I don't know why
And till this day sometimes I cry
He didn't even say goodbye
He didn't even take time to lie

Last few days I have been absent from the cat blogosphere wrapping up the last couple of weeks of my surgical internship that is due to end on August 31st. It is only today that I learned about the tragic demise of Oscar the Puppy Cat, my brother and the magnificent mancat of the cat blogosphere. I am devastated beyond words and am simply broken. Oscar was such a great cat and it is simply unbelievable. It will be hard to get out of this gloom that has again taken over us all in recent times. At least Oscar will find company in his daughter Suzanne on the other side of the bridge. We all wish Oscar's family finds strength and courage in these difficult times and Oscar finds peace and love across the rainbow bridge as he did in his earthly life...

Sending lots and lots of love and prayers to Oscar and his beans...

ps. We just learned about Anastasia's disappearance and Ubee's demise and now we are simply crushed. So much tragedy! Sending love and prayers to everybody's families...

uncle omer, i see you doing what needs to be done: visit your family and friends--the ones who love you. cry the tears that come with grief. share the pain and sadness, and remember.

Oopsie, that deleted comment above is mine -- I messed it up. Sorry about that.

Congratulations in completing your internship! That is a wonderful accomplishment. And yes, it has been such a sad, sad week on the kitty blogosphere. I have cried many tears for my precious kitty Daddy Oscar, and for Ana and for Ubee. But I am glad to be a part of such a wonderful group of furry family and friends as the cat blogosphere and we will all pull together and find comfort in love.

Purrs, snuggles, and soft, gentle headbonks,

Marilyn.
