Governments in India and Nepal have agreed to connect their forest borders across borders to allow free passage of wild animals. The move is great news for tigers and other carnivores and herbivores who were previously segregated across the border in reserves of both countries. The free transit will not only provide the animals with more space and thus allow them to flourish, it will also ensure genetic variety for future generations of animals across that part of Himalayas.
