Tiger kills his mother in a zoo

Small cages, lack of funds and facilities - these are the problems that affect animals in captivity everywhere. From privately owned exotic animals to state-run zoos in many parts of the world - lack of space and inadequate management is leading to increasing number of mishaps. In this instance a full grown adult male tiger killed his mother in India while they were placed together in a six by four feet cell. A very tragic event, that brings to light the plight of captive big cats, in that park in particular - and in many other such 'zoos' in general. More here.
