Fighting in Congo endangering Wildlife

Conservationists around the world are quite concerned about the recent spate of fighting between government and rebel troops in the Central African republic of Congo. The rebels have taken over a lot of territory, including the world famous Virunga National Park that houses 380 of the 720 mountain gorillas left in the world. Naturally the fate of these critically endangered magnificent animals is now uncertain - a very troubling situation indeed.
